Paradise Properties of Brevard Adds 18 New Agents - Company Earns Ranking As #1 Independent Sales Office in Brevard
[Melbourne/Brevard, FL]–Paradise Properties of Brevard continues to forge ahead and operate in growth mode despite what many consider an uncertain period in the real estate industry. Paradise Properties has recently added 18 new real estate agents, merged with two smaller firms and has its sights on new areas of business including commercial real estate.
David Omler, owner and broker of Paradise Properties of Brevard, set out to create the next generation real estate agency in 2002. After just five years, the Satellite Beach office of his company was ranked the number one independent office, excluding builders, according to the Melbourne Area Association of Realtors and the Space Coast Association of Realtors. The associations compare the number of properties listed, number sold and the sales volume to determine local market share.
The Satellite Beach office of Paradise Properties not only ranked the number one independent sales office but received other recognition such as the ‘Keep Brevard Beautiful’ award for Best New Building and Best Landscaping in 2006 and the Business of the Quarter award from the Satellite Beach Community Redevelopment committee in March 2006 for architecture and landscaping.
Omler’s vision for Paradise Properties was to have the area’s most recognized and successful agents working with him. His leadership and success in the business attracted agents from all over the area and he created a family of professionals that had different specialties, different areas of focus, and different styles. Agents at Paradise Properties are some of the most credentialed in the business. Paradise Properties is now 58 agents strong and growing. Agents credit the companies continued growth to David Omler’s unique perspective on the business and his progressive marketing approach. “David provides a high-class work environment, and generous training opportunities,” stated agent Chris Cook. “Paradise has a diversified approach to marketing and because of that, we’re able to stay in the game when others can’t. This gives us a unique edge on the competition.”
Part of the aggressive marketing approach is the strong international ties as the exclusive Brevard County affiliate for Christie’s Great Estates, Residence International and Mayfair International Realty. “With these relationships, we have the heads up in the luxury market,” says Omler. “This enables the clients we represent to market their home to the international audience looking for a vacation home or to purchase a home in Florida.”
Additionally, Omler looks outside the box. “As professionals working in this industry everyday, we know that you have to think creatively. We have developed a sophisticated system of community involvement, out of area relationships, events, and a growing online presence. We have also created our own upscale real estate magazine, Paradise In Brevard – that showcases luxury properties in Brevard County along with other fine home living articles and products.” Omler explains that the magazine promotes the quality of life in Brevard County and is distributed locally, in other areas of this country and abroad. The magazine received a Gold ADDY Award from the Space Coast Advertising Federation in 2006.
“Nowadays being in business means being creative about the strategies you use to stay in business,” says Omler. “Our industry has been faced with some tough times the past year or so and the reason we can grow is because we find new ways to do our business and new areas to expand our business. Our business model changes all the time and this is what keeps us successful,” concludes Omler.
